SYDNEY C. KIRKLAND
Sydney’s practice involves the litigation of
wills and trusts. She also specializes in the
drafting of trusts, wills, and durable powers of
attorney; probating estates; establishing,
administering and terminating conservatorships
and guardianships; and administering trusts.

Sydney Kirkland earned a juris doctor degree from the Drake University School of Law in
Des Moines, Iowa. She received her master’s
degree in 1981 from Virginia Commonwealth
University in Richmond and a Bachelor’s degree
in Economics in 1977 from Georgetown University,
Washington DC.
Admitted to practice before the courts of
California, Sydney is actively involved in the
following professional organizations: State Bar
of California, member: Estate Planning, Trust
and Probate Section; Bar Association of Northern
San Diego County; San Diego County Bar
Association; North County Estate Planning Group;
and American Inns of Court: Oliver Wendell
Holmes Chapter.
A resident of Escondido, Syd is active in the
following organizations: Escondido Rotary; Lawyers Club; and a member of the Board of Directors of the Bar Association of North San Diego County.
Syd enjoys showing purebred dogs, playing golf, and partipcating in Packard Automobile activities with her husband.
SUZANNE SAVAGE
Suzanne is the office paralegal with extensive experience in estate planning and trust administration. She is a key resource with a strong background in funding trusts, managing trustee accounts, managing probate cases, and preparation of estate documentation and ammendments.
Suzanne earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from California State University at Chico in 1992. She then attended the paralegal graduate level program at the University of San Diego where she earned her ABA Paralegal Certificate studying general law including litigation, legal research, legal writing, criminal law, family law, real estate, bankruptcy and estate planning.
She prepares trusts, wills, deeds, certification of trust, advance health directives, powers of attorney for asset management, HIPPA forms, assignment of personal property, and assignments of stock; as well as managing insurance trustee accounts.
When calling the office, the first voice you will hear is that of Suzanne. She handles all incoming calls, makes appointments, and helps you identify the documents you will need for your first visit.
A resident of Calsbad, California, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her family and during the winter moinths she is an avid and accomplished snow skiier.
